American Express Queenstown Winterfestival
26 Jun 2009 - 05 Jul 2009
The recipe is actually pretty simple - you take fireworks, comedy, drag races, birdman action, jazz, street parades, a glitzy ball and that's just in town.
Then we add the mountain stuff ski races, rail jams, night skiing, dog races and plenty of mountain mayhem.
Finally we throw it all in a bowl, chuck in a pinch of "wacky", a dash of "zany" and a couple of good handfuls of "wow" then simmer until June 26 when we get to add the last and most important ingredient - you!
There will an incredible programme with loads of fantastic events lined up over 10 days including all the old favourites and some new special festival twists.
So start planning for the 2009 American Express Queenstown Winter Festival - Friday 26th June - Sunday 5th July.
